There are lots of other grain analyzers currently available in the market, which in some way have the same application as ours. In fact, it’s challenging to differentiate between all these analyzers. Considering that you don’t understand much about AI, except for its role in determining grain quality based on size, color, and texture, we conducted a market survey before starting this project. Surprisingly, we found that this device is currently under development by 3-4 companies in India. One of these companies has successfully deployed it in Food Corporation of India procurement centers. The cost of a single device ranges from 12-15 lakhs, with an annual maintenance cost of 8-9 lakhs per device (including compute costs). Given the recent advancements in AI technology, we believe we can engineer a more affordable device that eliminates the need for cloud services, allowing users to process images without constant internet connectivity. Additionally, we addressed challenges related to identifying fortified grains in the sample by employing preprocessing techniques. Grainscope can handle other issues, such as segmenting closely packed and overlapping grains, thanks to our substantial dataset aligned with Indian Food Safety Guidelines.
GRAINSCOPE FEATURES :-

Recently, we’ve had the exciting opportunity to partner with the NVIDIA Inception Program. This collaboration promises to accelerate our advancements and updates significantly. Moreover, it provides us with a unique chance to stay informed about emerging trends, enabling us to continuously upgrade our technology and stay ahead of the market.
Grainscope will be soon in market and it will also be available as software as service for free trails.
